Rev. Kevin R. Osbourne was born in Brooklyn, New York to Deaconess Geraldine A. Osbourne and the late Percy G. Osbourne. He gave his heart to the Lord on June 21, 1984 at the age of twelve under the leadership of his pastor, the late Rev. Dr. Evans Bromley Marshall at the Lafayette Avenue Church of God. He accepted the call to ministry on January 20, 1996 and began his journey armed with enthusiasm and determination.
This tenacious warrior has set out to fulfill his God ordained purpose and destiny in the earth. He is an anointed and unique gift to the body of Christ who has been commissioned to proclaim the liberating, life-changing Word of God to this generation. Rev. Osbourne’s unique presentation of the gospel enables him to minister across gender, generational and ethnic lines. Pastor “Kev”, as he is affectionately known, received his early education at the Epiphany Lutheran School and James Madison High School. He is a graduate of the Bernard M. Baruch College with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and minor in Business Journalism. He is also a graduate of the Southern California School of Ministry with a Bachelors of Theology Degree.
On September 12, 1998 Rev. Osbourne married the beautiful Minister Tatum M. (Boyce) Osbourne. He served as the Chairman of the Program Committee for the Eastern New York General Assembly of the Church. Pastor Osbourne is honored to serve the Body of Christ nationally as the 2nd Vice President for the National Inspirational Youth Convention under the auspices of the National Association of the Church. Rev. Osbourne assumed the pastorate of the Refuge Church of God on January 1, 2007. Pastor Osbourne can be heard every Sunday morning on WMCA 570 Christian Talk Radio on your AM dial at 5:45AM.
His endeavor is to lead the people of Refuge into the presence of the Lord with the passion of the Lord for the purpose of the Kingdom of God. He has been called to the Kingdom for such a time as this to equip and prepare the people of God to advance God’s Kingdom agenda here on earth. His mandate is to “preach the WORD of God in season and out of season”.
